This workshop will provide a great introduction to folks new to theater who want to audition for the spring production of Through the Looking Glass, directed by Jonathon Hoover. Audition dates are February 18 and 20th and will be held at The Arts & Science Center at 701 S. Main St. in Pine Bluff. This production includes people of all ages but you must be at least 8 years old. If you are under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must provide consent. Performance dates are April 28, 29, and 30th with a possible performance on May 1st. If you are a student, you must obtain permission to miss classes on April 28 and 29th.
Be prepared to read from a script that will be provided for you. Not all roles require singing, but, if you are auditioning for a singing role be prepared to sing a song-any song. The theater workshop on December 12th will be fun and helpful for those interested in the February auditions.
The theater workshop is free thanks to the Ben Altheimer Charitable Foundation.
